QOTD: Let’s talk about injuries. What are your best injury stories? How do you work around them? If you haven’t had any experience with injury, how about weaknesses or bodyparts that are lagging behind and deserve a little extra attention?

AOTD: My shoulders and hands are bad. Thanks to some great Physical Therapists, I have learned how to do things in a way that does not hurt me. Simply using a fist to open the lid of a copy machine makes my life a little bit more pain-free. Adapt, you have to learn to adapt and make changes.

QOTD: What do you consider your weakness and what are you doing about it?

AOTD: My weakness is motivating myself to walk on the treadmill. I have designed a routine that mimics as close as I can to the mountain I used to walk up. I am hoping this new routine will keep me motivated. My goal was to win that mountain. Hopefully I will be prepared, using this new treadmill routine as a tool for the next time I get an opportunity to walk the mountain.

QOTD: What goal/goals do you have trouble achieving? What is your biggest obstacle? How do you plan to overcome it?

AOTD: The goal I just cannot get is to fit into that dang pair of jeans. It is so frustrating. My biggest obstacle has to be knowledge. I must not be doing something right. I plan on talking to a nutritionist at the store and see if she cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I think it is protein. Not enough protein.

QOTD: Ever tried explaining the 52 Day Challenge to someone else? What’s been the reaction?

AOTD: Tough topic to discuss with people who just do not get it. Always, 52 days? Always, strangers? Just not work discussing.
